My Song

I just read Cynthia's blog which talked about picking "your song". Her video of REM on Sesame Street inspired me. LG and I love the guest singers on Sesame Street. Sandra Bullock once did a mean "Ma-na-ma-na"...can't find it on you tube.

I don't know if I have ONE song, but this is a song that I LOVED as a child. It's message rings true to my life...Sing a song, sing out LOUD, don't worry if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear....just sing!

holy cow! They look so young and retro! I love that song. It can be heard belted in our home at least once a week.

Was that song first done on SS? It's classic, and so are their hairstyles and clothing, whoa.

Sesame Street was my favorite show when I was little... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 yah!

That would be my song, but my favorite muppet moment is Debbie Harry and Kermit singing the "Rainbow Connection". You have to see it. So beautiful!

I got the sesame street 3 Discs, collection called "Songs from the Street" which has all the really, really good ones on it!! Nasty Dan, Johnny Cash or as Oscar says Johnny Trash. . .check it out.

Funny! I called up Sesame Street producers and asked if I could get a copy of the song. They sent it to me. I came across it this Christmas when all the kids were home. I was hoping Mrs. Hall @ Carlsbad High (remember her?!) would use it for her choirs because I thought it had a simple, beautiful message!
