Mass Scary
On the way to school the other day Abigail asked me how long it took me to learn to put mascara on in the car.
I told her that applying mascara while driving was a fine art that her mother had practiced a lot over the past 17 years.
I then added, to the sure relief of my reading mother in law, that even though the talent was quite handy, it was one that I hoped she would never try to learn.
Abigail said, "Why?"
LG quickly replied from his passenger seat, "Because, it's scary, that's why!"
Abigail said, "Oh, o.k. Mom, from now on when you put on mascara in the car, we are going to call it mascary."

Make-up in the car is a must when you come from a big city like me. You have to leave too early in the morning, because of rush hour, to be able to do it at home.
I'll be sure to honk if I see you at work on the eyes. LOL
Beautiful photo Alice, glad your teachin' them young!!!
Mascary - I like that word! Smart girl you have.
I am not coordinated enough to drive and put on make-up. It would definitely be "mascary" if I tried!!!
Way to go Abigail. Just remember, example is the best teacher-or worse!!!
Thank heavens on behalf of all the other drivers on the road... I don't do make-up in the car. However, if I did... it the word would start with [mas] and end differently [acre] get it? masacre. Not good that is why I don't try it.

oh what am I saying... I love most all of your posts.
OMG Alice, how are you taking pictures and putting on mascara while driving?!!!! That's no good.
LOL, love the picture!
I love it! I try not to do my mascara in the car, but I ALWAYS do my lipliner and lipstick while driving. This skill doesn't take nearly the training to master.
The funny part is when I'm driving the lipstick goes on perfecto...however if I'm in the passenger seat and Todd is driving it never fails that he hits some huge bump, speeds up or hits the brakes and my lipstick is all smeared. On purpose perhaps????
