One of the hardest things for me about moving to the South was experiencing prejudice for the first time in my life.
I am so happy to know that I have been a part of stomping out that prejudice.
I love God's people, no matter what color.
And I especially love the members, like Phyllis, who give our church some soul.

This is a topic that my husband has struggled with... always knowing that ALL worthy members of the church should be able to partake in ALL of the blessings. I am glad that this declaration was made and for us it didn't happen soon enough. I grew up with a Dad that was prejudice and I am so glad that I do not take after him in that respect. I love ALL of God's children.

When I investigated the Church back in 73/74, this was my biggest struggle. I'm so grateful for the revelation.

I am really excited to see the whole movie. My Aunt saw a screening of it in San Francisco last weekend.
My husband's uncle was the first African-American to receive the priesthood. He is such a wonderful man and has an amazing testimony and he is now a bishop in Utah.
