In Germany a lot of people have stopped going to church because of the religion tax. They're also taxed out the rear in every other way, so I'm sure the thought of having another expense is not a fun thought. Although they do get an allowance from the government each month per child. I love the people though, they sure do take care of the kids they have!!!
I was going to write a really sarcastic remark about the "zero popultation growth" remarks that I have felt here in KY, but I am trying not to be so sarcastic in writing anymore because people just don't catch it. ;)

sad sad day. I am so grateful I know that true happiness does not come from material things! My children are my greatest treasure.
