Whenever I am tempted to think that my husband lacks romance, I will just remember this.
LG may not have ever proposed,
LG may not have ever proposed,
and he may have chosen our wedding night hotel solely for the all you can eat breakfast.
But, at least he married me in a magnificent place.
What happened to us?
In 11 and a half years,

What happened to us?
In 11 and a half years,
we went from the Salt Lake temple to having a date at McDonald's the other night.
But I will take some comfort.
With their new McCafe's, they are almost as classy as Starbucks now. :)

I saw the TacoBell couple on the Today Show. The cake they gave them made out of tacos/burritos was too cool. It had several tiers...
I figure that if you are still married after a year... it matters not where you go to celebrate.
Sometimes my favorite is
[Home Sweet Home].

What do you mean LeGrand didn't propose? You'll need to email me the full scoop.
Ahhh Alice, our first married meal together was at McDonalds. But at least you are still going out for dates right!
Our first married meal was at the burger king right next to the LA Temple as we were leaving! You know the one, where we would eat after our temple trips when in youngwomens.
Happy to see you back! I have missed you!

I'm with Mia. A date night is better than none at all! It seems hubby and I haven't been real diligent in making it a priority. Thanks for the reminder!
When all the kids were still home and LeGrand was old enough to leave them with, Duane and I ran away to Buger King one night. I don't remember a lot about our dates we have had over the years but I remember that one because it was just the two of us and we had peace and quiet. It was wonderful!!!
It doesn't matter where the date is -- as long as you get one once in a while, right? ;)
