Yep- you've made it alright. Buckets, really? Was it flooding in that part of town?
I'm glad to know that at least I'm not alone in the unconventional arena :)

buckets? i would have never thought of that one... too original. grocery bags. that was my style for the kids short over-nighters. i did get them Jansport duffel bags one christmas... a couple friends made off with them. we finally got some cool luggage as a 20 year of service award from Tony's job. so we don't look too 'trashy' when we travel. i loved this post. it's real! & you know how i hate fake.

Brown Paper Grocery bags were my luggage 30+ years ago when I went to Grandma's house.

Those buckets are hilarious!

Brilliant! Have you actually used four whole big buckets of wheat??

This just CRACKS me up -- that is some pretty cool, unique luggage if you ask me!

Glad you've "made it"! :)

I think it's very clever. You wouldn't have to worry about someone stealing your luggage. (On second thought, with the cost of food continuing to rise, you never know ; )
